Classroom Rules
In Addition to School Rules…
1. RESPECT—you must give respect in order to receive respect.
2. Take RESPONSIBILITY for your own actions.
Homework Policy
All homework assignments are due the next day UNLESS you are otherwise told in writing.
Homework is:
- Unfinished class work
- Newspaper Summaries
- Supplemental Assignments
YOU are responsible for turning in your homework at the beginning of class. Any late work should be turned in to the late work box.
Late assignments will result in a 10 point deduction from your grade. Papers without a name or that are written in very sloppy handwriting may also result in a 10 point deduction.
All homework assignments should be written in your assignment book daily.
If you are absent from any class, you must ask that teacher for your missed assignments on the first day you return to school.
Supplies
You must bring all supplies with you to class every day.
- Assignment Book
- Notebook Paper
- Pens/Pencils
- Spiral Notebook & Folder (5th Grade)
- Composition Book & Folder (6th Social Studies)
- 3-Ring Binder (6th Language Arts, 7th Texas History, 8th U.S. History)
- Textbook (5th, 7th, & 8th History)
- Colored Pencils
