Today marks a day of remembrance and thanks to those who have or are currently serving our country in uniform. Please take the time to pray for our soldiers today, and if you happen to see a veteran offer to them a word of thanks.
A few updates:
1) Dress rehearsal/performance of Willy Wonka is today at 1:45. This our first time through all the way---it is sure to provide many laughs! Join us on Sunday at 1:00 for another great performance!
2) 8th Graders traveling to Washington DC in April are providing a hamburger meal on Sunday before the musical. A free will offering will be collected to go toward the cost of their trip. Thank you for your support!!!
3) Varsity Girls and Boys have their first basketball game on Friday in Taylor. Games begin at 4:00 p.m. Go Blazers!
Homework Updates:
1) 6th Grade: We have begun reading The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. This week we will complete Ch. 1-4. Homework tonight will be in your Grammar workbook. Complete pgs. 58-59 Think A-C (all). We completed the evens in Think A in class.
2) 7th Grade: Your book review for Ch. 7 was assigned yesterday. It is due on MONDAY. Pg. 180 #1-13, 15 and TAKS practice. We are planning our test for Tuesday of next week.
