Getting Ready to Come Back to School!

The first day of school is close at hand! I am sure you have already begun to notice the aisles of school supplies in the stores. As you prepare to wander the school supply section, here is the list for 7th grade to help you. A full supply list can be found on the Zion Lutheran School website under "Zion Life".

A few notes about the list:

-- P.E. clothes (t-shirt and shorts) will be purchased from the Athletic Boosters this year.
-- Make sure to buy multiple packages of notebook paper to last throughout the year. 3 packages will not be enough!!! That is what is suggested to buy at the beginning. This will need to be refilled as the year goes on. Of the 3 packages requested on this list, one package will be turned into our homeroom stash that will be available for students at those times when they "didn't know they were out of paper", or just forgot to bring it to class.
-- Please choose a backpack that will fit inside the lockers. Each student will have a top and bottom locker this year. No cubbies for 6th-8th grade.
-- Our classroom needs Kleenex! Please bring your two boxes to contribute.

Ephesians 4:29-32 (New International Version)

29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
