Google Earth

We begin every year by learning and reviewing the basics of understanding the geography of the world in which we live. This year has been no different. With the added ease of use of the Smart Board and Mimio Teach devices, a resource that has become invaluable to me is Google Earth. If you aren't already familiar with this program, it is amazing! It is currently used on many news programs because of the amount of information that can be found, as well as, the great satellite imagery that it showcases. I encourage you to download Google Earth 6 and see what you can do with the program. The possibilities are endless! Check out some vacation spots or take virtual trip around the world. You can even keep up with the weather as we enter hurricane season.

Homework:
6th Grade English- Complete labeling and diagrams Pg. 10 all. We started in class but did not finish. This should be done on a sheet of notebook paper.

Ephesians 4:29-32 (New International Version)

29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
