Tuesday Reminders and Homework

Congratulations to all of the new student council class representatives! I am sure you will do a great job representing your class!

Reminder: 7th and 8th graders who would like to serve on the leadership council for NJHS should turn in their application to me tomorrow. We need a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Also- I am in the process of setting up a few service projects. More information to come soon!

Homework:
6th Grade World Cultures- We have a test tomorrow! Africa study materials are on the 6th grade page to use in addition to their passport. There will be a section on the test for each activity we have studied: Cultural Diversity, Geographic Diversity, Climate Regions, Geography Vocabulary.

*****Don't forget to prepare for the short answer question: Describe diversity in Africa using examples of cultural diversity (influences), geographic diversity (physical features), and climate regions.

6th Grade Literature- I just wanted to remind you---Both book reports are due next Friday, October 14th. No late book reports will be accepted.

7th Grade- We have postponed our test until Thursday. Keep studying!


Our 6th grade reading challenge is underway! Start logging those pages so we can reach our goal of 20,000!
